There is in Germany a large number of airports, some of them are for
local transfers and others for both international and local transfers.
The busiest airport in Germany is located in the city of Frankfurt
called the Frankfurt am Main Airport. The airport of Frankfurt is in
Europe the third busiest and in the world it is placed number nine.
Until 2005 the Rhein-Main Air Base was a base for the United States and
was then acquired by Fraport, which is a German transport company. In
cities as Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Cologne, Hannover, Munich, Aachen
are found civil airports, there are also military airports in Germany in
Bückeburg, Laupheim, Nordholz, Fritzlar, Rheine, Rostock, Wiesbaden,
Geilenkirchen, Nörvenich, Wittmund. There are planes landing from all
countries of the world in the Frankfurt Airport.
